Meet Casper, the coding agent that plans first
It reads your repo, writes a plan you can change, and edits files only after you approve each diff.
Every change goes through you.
The controls that make it safe to hand an agent a real codebase.
- plan
- Reads the codebase first and writes a step-by-step plan. You edit the plan, then it runs.
- approve
- Every file change arrives as a diff. Nothing is written until you say yes. Auto mode is opt-in.
- explore
- A search helper reads many files at once, so the main agent keeps its context for the actual work.
- skills
- Install skills from a GitHub repo or a zip, and switch them on per project.
- memory
- Reads the notes in your project's .agent/memory folder, so you stop repeating yourself.
- limit
- Stops at your plan's monthly token budget. No surprise bill.
Running in three commands.

# free plan, no card

# run "Casper: Sign In" in VS Code

# your browser opens, one click, and you are back in the editor
Pick a monthly token budget.
Every account starts on the free plan. Upgrades are approved by an admin, so there is never a surprise charge.

Questions.
- What counts as a token?
- Input plus output tokens of every model call the agent makes, counted per calendar month. The meter on your subscription page and in VS Code shows the running total.
- What happens at my limit?
- The agent declines new requests with a clear message until the month resets or your plan changes. A run already in progress is not cut off halfway.
- How do upgrades work?
- Request a plan from your subscription page. An admin reviews it and switches your plan. There is no card form: billing is handled by the admin.
- Will it change files without asking?
- No. By default every edit is shown as a diff and waits for your approval. You can turn on auto mode per chat if you prefer.
- Which models can I use?
- Each plan lists the models it can run. Plans marked all models include every model the admin has enabled, including ones added later.
- Can I use more than one machine?
- Yes. Signing in from VS Code makes one token per device. Revoke any of them on the API tokens page.
Ship the next change with a plan.
